Bo
This is Bo.
He is a Gorilla-Bear hybrid.
From the only country where hybrids can be born.
He doesn't know anything about his biological parents but as a child was found and sheltered by "Mother", a human who is now one of the most feared criminal bosses thanks to the support and protection from Bo.
He has done many bad things, feels guilt and regret for these bad things but he does them because "Mother said so" and he believes whatever "Mother" says is the right thing to do.
In a world where futuristic technology has been discovered but still a long way of being understood, Bo has received his futuristic body armour from "Mother" as a gift and extra protection. He still doesn't know the full functionality of his armour. His main weapons are his (gorilla)bare hands or anything heavy that he can wield.
After a series of unfortunate events, he is separated from "Mother", winds up in the big city located in another country on the other side of the world where he learns he has been the bad guy and is on a journey to become good and find redemption.
This is my video game character concept done for school. Any comments/critiques/questions on the character would be cool.

Marlin Brando
The Process
"Marlin Brando"
- First I chose which fish I wanted to do. I decided to make up my own fish rather than paint up an existing one. I roughed out a 3/4 view, side view, and front view.
- Next, I drew a larger, a bit clearer pose of the fish. At this point, I had the idea of creating a fish the looks like it's holding it's breath. I thought it would be funny.
- When I was satisfied with the design and pose, I built up the form by paying attention the fish's light and shadows. I also experimented until I was able to get the tail look convincingly transparent. I realized too late that I moved away from the "Deep Breath" fish and it was pointed out to me that it started looking like Marlon Brando.
- Added stronger shadows and highlight, Worked more on the eyes and finished off the fins.
- Added the scales and gill, finished the eye, added textures, put in a background and adjusted the levels. DONE!
