Where all the Magic happens...
So here's another one for the portfolio. There's supposed to be two-perspective drawings of a room from 2 different angles, so expect another one from a different angle soon.
Although I don't feel this is quite done yet. For one, it does look kinda fish-eye-y. Also, I'm thinking of colouring it with either marker, pencil crayons or watercolour for some variety in my portfolio (also, I've never added shades to an environment before and if I do, I don't think it'll look as good as I want). I'll probably try them all and post 'em here. Then hopefully you folks reading this can help me choose which is better. So consider this your heads up. Thanks.

Carl Frederickson
If you have seen UP and didn't, at least, get choked up during the movie then you are soul-less robot.
I love this movie. Pixar is so good at what they do. The stories, music, voice acting, and of course, the animation (especially the expressions, acting and movement of the characters) are all unrivaled in my mind.
And what I also believe is key, which is most likely a Disney thing, everything they make is timeless. You can watch any movie now, later, and maybe even 10 years in the future and it will still be great and entertaining.
They don't need to make any dated pop-culture references which, by the way, is starting to bother me. When they do that, I wonder, would it still have the same impact 10 years from now?

Food Court Sketches
Mother Goose(?)
At iFanboy.com there was this contest going on where you would reinterpret a fairy tale, fable, or nursery rhyme as a short comic.
I'm not good enough to make sequentials so I couldn't enter. But I did find myself making up a version of Mother Goose...or at least, a kind old lady that wears goose themed clothing. Which is one of the ways I imagine her.
...I dunno, I thought it was cool.

Portfolio Requirements - Figure Drawings
So here's the deal, I'm trying to apply for a College Animation program next year so I gotta get a portfolio prepared.
I need figure drawings, hand drawings, drawings of an everyday object, and 2-point perspective environment drawings.
I got some time to get it done so I'm gonna try to draw as many as I can and choose from the best.
And thanks to the magic of the Internet, I can post my stuff and gather some comments and critiques from fellow artists to help me improve and create better stuff.
So comments and critiques you may have are very much appreciated.
Thank you :)

Runaways - Molly Hayes
One of my most favourite characters. I just love her hats.
The one with the bus was made in 2007 and her Stitch hat is based on the one I got from DisneyWorld.
The one on the right was made in 2008.

Toon Buffy
Started this back in the middle of December after I read Buffy #20
Finished penciling/inking on Jan.01/09, hence the date.
Tried a different method to colour this, based on this but I only used a darker base colour and highlights
Also, bow at my lack of ability of imagining dynamic poses.
