Layin' 'em out

Here's the work that I've done so far from Layout class. Then coloured in Digital Painting class.

A scene inspired by Lost...

The barbershop of an old, retired soldier...

I'm okay with what I've churned out but I keep getting that nagging feeling like I can do better.

Oh! And as an added bonus, an incomplete, barely comprehensible painting of a lady I scribbled during a digital painting lecture.

I just want to practice drawing women...

Bus Depot - Colours

Someone else drew this, I digitally coloured it.
One day I will paint a background layout. But today I just kept it cel-shaded.

Playing with ink, whiteout and an old toothbrush

I just wanted to let loose and draw.
I once saw Jim Mahfood (introduced to me by Yochie Bee) ink with a toothbrush and I was like, "Hey, I could try that. Toothbrush does have the word 'brush' in it."

And since I had no ideas what I wanted to draw and have started a habit of falling back on drawing Hellboy and Batman, I did these:

With India ink, brushes, whiteout pens and an old toothbrush. This was fun :)
