February Flop

February was supposed to be a month of daily drawings I was supposed to do along with a buch of other artists that I joined HERE. I only lasted a week before my poor time management skills and slow drawing process got the better of me.

Here's what I did manage to get down:

I'll try again in March with a bunch of friends. :D

Bo Yett - Character Package and Maquette Progress

This is Bo Yett. A character I developed during last semester's Character Design. More on him HERE. There were some suggestions of changes that I wasn't able to apply to him but, hey, I love this character anyway and I and very proud of how he turned out.

His wide range of emotions.

His hand gestures.

His poses.

His full body rotation.

I also made a maquette of Bo.

Adding some Super Sculpey mass.

Cutting in some detail.

His face.

His back.

Finished. Before baking.

Baked.

Primed with gray paint.

Digitally added a coat of paint.

Painted.

What's rad is that his blue lights and the butterfly glow in the dark. But you'll have to take my word for it for now because I wasn't able to get a decent picture of the lights glowing.
